On being honored as one of the pioneers for the “Egyptian Women Can” Conference and her ranking at the top of Forbes Magazine 2021 list of the best wealth management advisors on the US level, Laila Pence expressed her gratefulness and welcomed the Minister of Immigration and Expats Dr. Nabila Makram’s congratulation for her.
Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), Pence stressed her contentment with this honour and praised to be selected out of many men and women advisors from southern California, stating that it is her third year in a row to be chosen as the first.
She numbered the criteria for which Forbes chose somebody to be in the magazine list such as: assets under management, the increase of assets, the ability for clients to recommend somebody and other areas of research.
Though she is distinguished in the field of economics, Pence thanked for gaining access to international experiences by working hard, going to many conferences, educating herself, managing a lot of money, managing her business in various types of investments, knowing the economics of investing and how to take from one area to a needy one.
She appreciated the Egyptian women and evaluated Egypt’s efforts and plans for them. She underscored the role of the President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi and the big changes that happened in the country as she was impressed by the desire to bring up women in Egypt.
As one of the pioneers of Egypt Can Conference, Pence stated that the conference is a bridge between immigrants who have a passion for their homeland and Egypt. It gives them the chance to help back the country they love, she reassured, admitting that it helped her reconnect and thus doing lots of fundraising for hospitals.
Finally, she advised women to find something they are passionate about and to stick to education and to know there is no limit a woman can do as we are multitaskers, and to work on achieving their goals.
